Self-exclusion
If you want to stop yourself from accessing gambling sites, several tools exist:
- GamStop (UK only): blocks your access to all GB-licensed online gambling operators. Free. Web: gamstop.co.uk
- BetStop (Australia): national self-exclusion register for licensed Australian operators. Free. Web: betstop.gov.au
- Gamban: device-level blocker that works across browsers, apps, and operating systems. Paid, but free for some users via partner schemes.
- Operator-level self-exclusion: most reputable casinos offer a cooling-off period or permanent self-exclusion that you can set from your account settings. Use it if you need it.
Signs that gambling has become a problem
Not exhaustive, but if more than a couple of these apply, it is worth a conversation:
- Thinking about gambling when you should be focused on other things.
- Increasing bet size to recreate the same level of excitement.
- Lying to family or friends about how much time or money you have lost.
- Borrowing money to gamble or to cover gambling losses.
- Trying to stop or cut back and finding you cannot.
- Gambling to escape feelings of stress, sadness, or boredom.
- Losing relationships, jobs, or opportunities because of gambling.
If any of those feel familiar, the helplines above are a no-judgment first step.
Tools to manage your play
Most reputable casinos provide the following tools from your account settings. Use them, even if you do not currently feel you need to.
- Deposit limits: cap the daily, weekly, or monthly amount you can deposit.
- Wagering limits: cap the total amount you can bet over a period.
- Loss limits: cap the net loss over a period.
- Session time limits: trigger a forced break after a set play time.
- Reality checks: in-session pop-ups that show elapsed time and net result.
- Cool-off period: lock yourself out of the account for 24 hours, 7 days, or longer.
Setting a deposit limit when you open an account is a small action with disproportionate value. We recommend doing it before your first deposit, not after a problem develops.
What this site does and does not do
This site provides informational content about crash games and lists casinos. We do not:
- Operate any casino or take any bets.
- Process payments.
- Issue refunds (we have no funds to refund).
- Provide professional gambling counseling.
We do receive affiliate commission when readers register at some of the casinos we link to. That arrangement does not change the content of our reviews; we link to operators we would recommend regardless, and we omit ones we would not recommend regardless. The Privacy Policy explains what tracking happens through affiliate links.
Age restriction
You must be 18 or older to gamble in most countries. In some jurisdictions (parts of the US, Canada, etc.) the minimum age is 19 or 21. Verify your local minimum age before playing. We do not link to any operator that knowingly accepts underage players, but underage gambling is your responsibility to avoid.
For families and friends
If someone close to you is struggling with gambling, the same helplines above offer support for family members. You do not need to be the gambler yourself to call.
